The Just Love Mission
In putting a complete end to exploitation and sex trafficking, we know we face insurmountable odds. That’s why we’re prepared to do what is necessary to make it as hard as possible for these forms of injustice to exist. We care for those who have been victimized by filling the service gaps in our state, spreading education and awareness among our communities, and working with law enforcement and legislators to create stronger laws against exploitation and sex trafficking.

Tricia Grant
Executive Director and Board President
Tricia, Just Love's Executive Director, is a strong advocate for survivors and youth vulnerable to exploitation, and a leader in the anti-trafficking movement, she is also the Founder and Director of If Only 1. Tricia is a survivor of domestic minor sex trafficking who now educates and mentors youth and adults in large group and one-on-one settings about the reality of human trafficking and exploitation. As a survivor-leader, Tricia consults with safe houses all over the country. She works with first-time sex buyers facilitating groups of offenders as a diversionary program in the state of Maine. Having been trafficked in Maine and throughout New England when she was 15 and living on her own with her little boy, Tricia has been able to connect deeply with at-risk youth and encourage victims of exploitation/trafficking and sexual trauma as they move forward in their healing process. Tricia has worked with governors and attorneys general to educate groups of health care providers, educators, law enforcement, and business professionals about the underlying trauma associated with sexual abuse, assault, and domestic minor sex trafficking. She shares her story with the hope that it will help others understand that trafficking can happen to anyone anywhere and prevent victims from waiting 16 years to talk about it, as she did.

Allyson Ray
Executive Team Member and Board Member
Allii joined the Just Love organization with a passion for helping people. She brings many years of experience in serving organizations making an impact on the lives of the marginalized. After raising six children with her husband, Ken, she decided to invest her time helping to increase awareness of sex-trafficking and assisting survivors. Her son first brought her attention to the crisis by requesting she and her husband join him in attending a Christine Caine conference in Dallas, TX. Once she knew of the pervasiveness of sex-trafficking not only internationally, but in America and her home State of Maine, she couldn’t unknow. She is a determined warrior of the cause with a specific interest in educating the public and advocating for tougher laws against traffickers as well as protecting the innocent.

Meredith Soucy
Executive Team Member
Meredith grew up in Central Maine and has made a really cool journey back to Maine after a big adventure in NYC! To summarize, she followed her career aspirations to NYC over a decade ago and built a successful career in the fashion industry. While NYC became home, about 5 years ago she felt God gently nudging her to leave the busy, stressful, and competitive culture in NYC. So in another big move, she did what any woman would do and moved back to Maine to be a Lobster (person, I guess?) Person! After a summer of slinging lobsters, she decided to take some time, simplify life, seek God's purpose and plan, and took a job at Becky's Diner where she waitressed for 2.5 years. She is now on staff at Eastpoint Christian Church and runs The Point Community Center there. It is at Eastpoint where she first heard mention of human trafficking. She was shocked that it was happening HERE in our own community and knew she had to get involved and do something! It was shortly after that she met Nancy and started brainstorming together. It was during this time that God laid on her heart the idea for the Just Love Boutique to use her gifts in fashion for Him. She has a relentless, strong desire to love and come alongside these women who have suffered so much and show them how special and truly valuable they are...after all, they are all daughters of the King!
